L2D Media presented '3me,' the new children and youth series by Marcela Citterio, at Content Americas Miami 2024

The production company L2D is at Content Americas searching for partners for its series '3me,' the latest creation of the renowned Argentine writer Marcela Citterio.

The project was launched this Wednesday during a cocktail attended by its creator and Mandy, its lead actress.

"The whole project starts backward," comments Leyla Formoso, who is collaborating on the series. "Normally, you have the idea, the target audience, and then you look for the right people to work with. But in our case, we already had all the talents, and we just needed to think of a good idea."

'3me' is announced as an innovative project that combines three genres (musical, live-action, and anime) and is designed to adapt to any screen and country.

In addition to Marcela Citterio, it features the music producer Poobear in charge of the music.

The project is in the process of writing a pilot episode, and they hope to find producers, distributors, and screens at Content Americas who not only provide financing but are "interested in the story, have vision, and are in love with the project," says Formoso.

"I'm happy to return to a genre that has given me so much joy," adds Marcela Citterio, known for titles such as 'Heidi, bienvenida,' 'Patito feo,' 'Chica vampiro,' and 'Yo soy Frankie,' among others.

"I am excited to have a children's and youth series that from the beginning has the possibility of adapting to other countries."

The series follows the story of triplets who are seemingly orphaned after their parents disappear during an expedition to the Amazon. When they are separated to live with their respective godmothers, they promise to reunite and find their parents. The triplets will have to adapt and discover that music unites them: one is a K-pop fan, another loves reggaeton, and the third is into pop. And it will be this love for music that will allow them to travel to the anime realm and reunite.

The series is planned to have three seasons, each focused on one sister and addressing different themes such as the world of fashion, science, technology, gastronomy, awareness of the climate emergency, and class struggle.

The young singer, dancer, actress, and influencer Mandy Corrente, who sang the main song of the show at Content Americas, will portray the three sisters.

The Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer Poobear will be in charge of all the musical production in a series where the musical component is highly relevant.

Currently, the series is focused on the US Hispanic market, but the format is intended to be sold and adapted to any part of the world, with different protagonists and musical styles depending on the region.
